Description
The title of this work “Can Drink Andy” already points to the inspiration. The can inevitably recalls Andy Warhol’s Campbell cans and is to be understood in a double sense. A woman was also deliberately depicted here in connection with an art object, which stands for Sylvia Schramm as a representative for female artists. Schramm points out that women are still a minority in museums and gallery programs compared to their male counterparts.
The red illuminated frame in plexiglass corresponds with the center of the scene and is supported by the interplay of the reflecting metal.
The works series GRAPHICS includes 10 motifs, is numbered as a limited edition of 30 pieces each and signed by the artist personally. There are 2 sizes selectable per motif.
